Do you outsource my work?
No. We never outsource work – foreign or otherwise – all work is done by Medict’s highly-qualified transcriptionists.


Who types my reports?
Medict’s workforce does all of your transcription. Your account will be assigned to specific transcriptionists to easily monitor your workflow and provide quality assurance.


Where are your transcriptionists located?
Our workforce is located throughout the United States.


Do you offer Speech/Voice Recognition?
No.   While Voice Recognition may be a viable alternative for some, it is not for everyone.  We tailor our service  to the dictator, matching qualified transcriptionists to each account.  We provide custom reports based on individual needs and feel our transcription quality is superior to the quality provided via Voice Recognition.


How much does it cost?
Medict charges for either a gross physical line or a 65-character line; rates are dependent upon the line counting method chosen. All line counts are easily documented and verifiable. Make sure you know exactly how your lines are being counted when comparing line rates from any company.


Is it secure?
Yes – our systems use sophisticated, HIPAA-compliant security to give us all peace of mind. Upon login to the Medict service uses the highest-level browser-based 128-bit encryption algorithm, made possible by the Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Digital certificates protect the entire session. All voice and transcribed documents are stored on fault tolerant servers with RAID-configured drives, within a state-of-the-art data center.


Do you require a contract?

No contract is required. We want to work with clients that are happy with our service and who do not feel contractually bound.  If you would like a contract we will create one for you, but generally we find them not to be necessary. In order to work together all our clients have a HIPAA-compliant Business Associate Agreement.


Can you provide references?

Yes, a list of references is gladly provided upon request. Medict has worked with a variety of clients for more than two decades.
